Elegant Easter Eggs

I created these eggs from papier mache eggs glued to a glass candle stick and decorated with IOD moulds. I love how they turned out. I have video on the DIY Facebook page on how to create them. It is also shared to my Facebook page, GoodsonVintage.

First I filled the inside of the candle stick with hot glue. I used Tite Bond Glue around the top edge and glued the egg to it. Let dry overnight.

Next I created the mould using IOD art clay and IOD moulds. I created the moulds and glued to the egg with the Tite Bond Glue.

Let dry overnight again before painting.

Then I painted the eggs with DIY paint.

I used French Millenary and White Swan.

When dry I sealed with DIY Big top. Next when the Big top was dry I  watered down DIY Layered Chocolate and painted all over the egg and the candlestick. Then I used  a baby wipe to wipe the wash down leaving it in the creases. When dry I put a final coat of Big Top on the egg. I love how they turned out.
